The Calderdale Way Map Guide

The Calderdale Way is a 50-mile circuit around the borough of Calderdale that has been open for nearly half a century. It provides a richly rewarding walk throughout, taking in ancient woodland, open moorland, beautiful villages and follows a series of historic packhorse trails. The varied route takes in sites across the borough like Great Rock, Midgley Moor, Shibden Dale, Jerusalem Farm, Norland Moor, Norwood Green and Withens Clough., as well as some of its less frequented corners.

This new guide by Chris Goddard breaks the route down into five manageable sections, with detailed notes on public transport, parking, refreshments along the route. There is also a wealth of information and sketches about local history, wildlife and folklore.
